Tyz Law Group Welcomes Three New Additions to Firm

Tyz Law Group, a Northern California-based boutique Intellectual Property litigation and counseling firm, has added three legal professionals in the first quarter of 2024: Guinevere Jobson joined as General Counsel-in-Residence and Chief Operating Officer; Stephanie Alvarez Salgado as an intellectual property and business litigation attorney, and Monica Chinchilla as a part-time law clerk, expected to join full-time following the July 2024 bar exam.

“The addition of Guinevere, Stephanie and Monica broadens the team’s skills, depth and perspective,” said Ryan Tyz, founder of Tyz Law Group.  “At a time when some larger firms are contracting, the demand we’re seeing for Tyz Law’s services demonstrates the value of our model - aligning closely with our clients’ objectives, relentlessly resolving high stakes disputes and navigating business challenges at the intersection of law and technology.”

Jobson’s experience managing trial teams amplifies our existing team’s proven ability to handle high-stakes litigation against larger firms. Her most recent role in-house running a legal department also enhances Tyz Law’s delivery of actionable legal advice, helping in-house teams implement complex and evolving legal requirements as part of their sustainable operations. Her energy and ability to bring people together are essential to preserving and strengthening our firm culture as we grow.

Rising star Alvarez is already hard at work wrestling fact and legal issues to the ground on behalf of our clients, embedding deeply with them to align legal strategies with business objectives. Her determination and grit bring bench strength to our nimble team.

With the addition of law clerk Chinchilla, Tyz Law is investing in the pipeline of quality, diverse legal professionals. Chinchilla’s curiosity and dedication is making its mark supporting Tyz Law delivery of high-quality client work.  Her background in community organizing gives a strong voice of advocacy in support of our client’s business goals and her anticipated addition as an attorney following the July 2024 bar exam will further support our top-quality team.

“We are proud that 10 of the firm’s current 13 legal professionals are women and are all excited to have Guinevere, Stephanie, and Monica join our team.” added Tyz.
