National Law Journal Names Ryan Tyz 2020 Elite Boutique Trailblazer

The National Law Journal has recognized Tyz Law Group Principal and Founder Ryan Tyz as a 2020 Elite Boutique Trailblazer. Ryan was profiled in a special supplement to The National Law Journal along with a select group of honorees “that are truly agents of change” in an effort to “shine a light on those who have taken extra measures to contribute to positive outcomes,” according to Keith Edwards, Vice President, Legal Market Leader at ALM Media.

Ryan is recognized for structuring Tyz Law Group’s growth around a pioneering fixed-fee subscription model in place of the billable hour that has proved to be a huge success for both the firm and its growing list of clients. He sees an increasing demand from clients for alternative legal fee models that prioritize transparency and predictability over the inefficiency and client tension that the billable model can cause.
