Tyz Law Group Welcomes Back Monica Chinchilla

After a summer completing her juris doctor and studying for the bar, Law Clerk Monica Chinchilla re-joins Tyz Law Group as its first direct from law school hire.  In addition to earning her degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in May 2024, Monica received the 2024 Clinical Legal Association Award for Outstanding Clinical and Externship Students for her externship at Tyz Law Group during her third year of law school.   At graduation, Monica was also awarded Best Student Note for her research and writing of The Childhood Sexual Assault Pandemic: California Must Do Better and was recognized by the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction for excellent achievement in the study of Information Privacy.   

Monica’s diverse set of professional experience, her energy and her advocacy skills complement the existing team and add bench strength and capacity to the firm’s growing litigation practice. 

Monica earned a J.D. at the University of San Francisco School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of San Francisco.
