Ryan Tyz Named Top IP Lawyer for Fourth Consecutive Year

Tyz Law Group founder Ryan Tyz has been named by the Daily Journal as one of the top intellectual property lawyers in California in 2023. For the fourth consecutive year, Ryan has been recognized for differentiating his firm from the traditional Big Law model, building a team of attorneys who are passionate about their work and identify themselves by their specialized training such as “mathematician,” “engineer,” “rhetorican” and “strategist.”  The recognition also notes the firm does a lot of work in the video game sector, highlighting its recent win on behalf Finnish game developer Supercell, in which the firm obtained a dismissal with prejudice of a putative class action challenging the legality of “loot boxes” in Supercell’s Brawl Stars and Clash Royale mobile games – an issue with wide-ranging impact in the industry.
